Westbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre delivers the Royal Lifesaving ‘Swim and Survive’ Curriculum - the proven method to achieve the national benchmarks for swimming and water safety. Evidence-based program with fun and friendly staff
The WSAC learn-to-swim program is structured into progression levels to cater for each student’s needs and abilities. Our set student-teacher ratios ensure all students are supported to develop through the program. Our teachers foster a fun and welcoming environment for students to build water confidence and reach their goals. To join our program, please ‘register your interest’ using the form below.

Our learn-to-swim lessons are 30mins in duration and the fee is $24 per lesson which is paid via a convenient fortnightly direct debit.

Safety is our top priority
Our Westbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (WSAC) has been awarded the highest accreditation of a Gold Endorsement from Life Saving Victoria (LSV) in the pool safety assessment program. Our aquatic areas are patrolled by Life Saving Victoria qualified lifeguards during operating hours. Our highly capable lifeguards maintain constant surveillance of all patrons in the aquatic area and are trained to act immediately and appropriately in the event of an emergency.
