Programs
Westbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is a recognised AUSTSWIM training centre. As such we work together with AUSTSWIM to ensure Westbourne Students and community members have appropriate and relevant swimming lessons and are taught the appropriate water safety skills.

As safety is paramount at Westbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, our Aquatic areas are patrolled by Life Saving Victoria qualified Lifeguards during operating hours. Our highly capable Lifeguards maintain constant surveillance of all patrons in the aquatic area and are trained to act immediately and appropriately in the event of an emergency.
Learn to Swim
The Westbourne Learn to swim program focuses on a learning environment where fun and inclusivity support the foundations of water safety education. Our program offers several different levels to cater to each student, ensuring all students are nurtured and developed within the program.

Our levels are organised into age groups and swimming abilities, with specific ratios for each level.
